Happy Little Stampers ATC January Challenge

Hello everyone!

I am excited to announce that I have joined Happy Little Stampers ATC Challenge team. Today is my very first post with them and I am so excited!

For anyone who isn't familiar with ATC cards, they are mini works of art that measure 2.5" x 3.5" and are traded around the world. Usually they are numbered and signed on the back by the artist.

This month's theme is Vintage. I loved creating my ATC!

First I used the ink Baked Brown Sugar from Stampin' Up to get that nice blended dark vintage-y look for the background. I made the edges darker by using the ink and not blending it with the blending tool.

After I got the color exactly how I wanted it I took a large word background stamp and inked it in white ink.

Once I stamped the words and had the background I die cut a butterfly from a punch my mom, Lisa from OhSoCuteByLisa, had in her stash. I am always borrowing her supplies! Make sure to check out her ATC card as well because we are both on this team, so cool!!

Next I added a pearl to the center of the butterfly for an added finish.

The last step was adding in twine to the top of the card.

That is it. This card was so much fun to make and I am so happy to be on this team and able to share much more like these cute cards with all of you.

I hope you'll play along with us this month and enter the ATC challenge at Happy Little Stampers

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy New Year

Happy New Year everyone!

I wanted to write this post today to talk about my word of the year. I know...I am late with this but my word did not come to me right away. It took 3 days into the new year until I realized, this is my word.

The word I have chosen for 2019 is consistent. I feel like I always start a bunch of things whether its with my planner, my family or anything. I don't normally stick to something very long and I would like to change that. I have decided that consistent is the perfect word for me for 2019 because there were multiple things that I thought I want to do this longer than just today or just this week.

Now I know it may seem crazy but I am not setting impossible goals to stick to. I am choosing things that are simple but that I know I will be able to accomplish each week/ month.

Here is a look at the eight goals that I have created for myself this year:
I am really excited for 2019! I have a lot of plans and goals for this year. I am so excited to see them all come to life!

What are your goals for 2019? What is your word?

Happy New Year!

Paper Sweeties Plan Your Life Series- January 2019!

Happy New Year!!

I can't believe that it is January 1st, 2019! 2019! Where has the time gone?!

I hope that everyone had a lovely holiday season spent with family and friends! I had the pleasure of spending the holidays with some of my favorite family members! We had the best time together and did not want it to end.

Today I am here to show you my monthly layout using Paper Sweeties Planner Series stamp sets. I used a whole bunch of stamp sets to complete this months layout.

To start I used the words "blog post" from the stamp set Get Your Craft On. I then used the stamp set Celebrate and stamped birthday and the balloons.

The last two stamp sets I used were Everyday Basics and Winter Sentiments. Everyday Basics was released in November and it is the perfect stamp set for all types of planner spreads.

I used the stamp "work" from Everyday Basics and stamped it out on each day.

The last set I used was Winter Sentiments and I used the stamp "resolutions" and "weekend" from this set. I absolutely love the little hearts on either side of the word weekend.

Here is a look at my monthly spread using all different stamp sets from Paper Sweeties:

Hope you will check out all of the stamp sets from the Planner Series at Paper Sweeties!

Thanks for stopping by! Please make sure to head on over to my fabulous team and check out all of their posts for today!

Happy New Year from my family to yours!
